TY is of Creole and Cuban heritage, a protégé of the late iconic theatre director, ALAN SCHNEIDER, and a former student of the late LEE STRASBERG. He has a BA in Theatre from FSU and an MFA in Acting from UCSD. His film credits include Window of Opportunity, Con Air, CB4, Salvador.
Television credits include ER, Everybody Hates Chris, Tapped Out. On stage he has appeared in Attitudes and Big Guns, Buffalo Soldier, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Balm in Gilead, Ceremonies in Dark Old Men, The School for Scandal and he originated the role of Byron in the stage production of Window of Opportunity.
He is an acclaimed acting coach and has taught Acting for the Camera, and Technique at New York Film Academy and he has conducted workshops around the country.
TY is also a screenwriter and poet among his other artistic talents.
